Deflocking is a last resort when a So Soft pony has reached bait status. After all these years, while some
of them are still fine and soft, some of them have major rubs which is unappealing to anyone. So, someone
found ways to get rid of the fuzz and make the pony completely over.

There are a lot of ways to deflock a My Little Pony. Many people use the tried and true acetone method, but for me i find it so tedious to go around the eyes and the symbols when there's such a better and easier way.
First, make sure the pony is clean. It's not a absolutley required, but a good idea. Also, if she's going to be rehaired, go ahead and pull out her hair before you start. It's easier to get between the plugs. If you're going to keep the hair, you'll have to work around it. I would suggest that you wrap the hair in plastic wrap.

Next, Slather the Jasco on the pony. Work in a well ventilated area. I didn't notice much of a smell, but sometimes, what you can't smell is still eating away at your insides. And, others report it smells... [maybe too much craft glue days, on my part?] Slather the Jasco on, liberally. Don't be afraid to put it on her eyes and symbol, it will not harm them. Leave it there for the full 5 minutes recommended.
After the time has gone by, and you're totally getting impatient... it's time for the fun part. Submerge your pony in the dish pan and clean her with your wash cloth. The fuzz should be practically falling off the pony. Don't worry if there's some spots left, you're going to do step 2 again. Once you get her as clean as you can. Slather her again. And wait.
Submerge her again, and wash her up. She should either be totally clean by now, or have only small amounts left. corners, wings, places like that tend to hold onto the fuzz better.
Take a Q-tip and some acetone and clean up the left over parts.
Give her a final bath, let her totally air dry... and you're all done. Unless, of course, she needs new hair, in which case, head over to the rerooting page for places to get the perfect match.
